State Trees List

All U.S. 50 states have official state trees. Most state trees are native to their state, except for Hawaii's, which came from Asia. State trees are picked because of history, how early settlers used trees, or their role in the state's economy. States started naming their state trees in the 1800s and early 1900s when the country was growing quickly.
